Foot Scientific Type 3 Wedge Support
Our Type 1 and Type 3 orthotics work exceptionally well for most flat-footed or high-arched individuals. However, if you have extremely flat feet, extremely high arches, or a pronounced inward or outward tilt of the heel, you may benefit from adding our wedges. These are simple, self-explanatory additions placed under the heel portion of the orthotic to enhance correction.
- Occasionally, more aggressive correction is needed for pronating feet (Type 1 – flat arch) or supinating feet (Type 3 – high, rigid arch).
